"There's Fairy Dust On My Pillow"

Ella lost her second tooth yesterday. She was very delighted when she woke up this morning to find a silver, glittery-like substance next to her pillow. She and Sophie classified it as "fairy dust." Ella was also very excited to find a five dollar bill under her pillow. That's up from the $2 she received for her first tooth. I guess that's the smallest bill the tooth fairy had last night. I hope Ella's not too disappointed when her third tooth goes back to the original rate.

Lucy continues to crack us up with her vocabulary. Yesterday, she correctly used the word "actually." She's also getting into the election, like the rest of us. When asked who's going to be the next president, she either says "me" or "daddy." Bob also has gotten a kick out of teaching her to say "No Barack Obama." It's pretty funny.  Don't worry, Andy, I'm not letting him brainwash her too much.

In other news, Sophie got a pebble stuck deep in her ear today at school. Don't ask me how or why. Luckily, Bob was able to extract it with his tweezers.

Happy Friday, everybody!

Comment for Ella: Congratulations! I'd call you "Toofless", but I know it's replacement was already showing itself! You've got a GREAT tooth fairy!

Comment for Lucy: Where did you learn that? --"actually", I mean? I know where you learned the Obama line :)!

Comment for Sophie: Don't do that again, honey! You don't want to become "stone" deaf!

I hear Lucy is among the 75% of two year old's polled that favor Obama over Mccain because it's more fun to say his name. Bob will be pleased to hear, though that the six year old's favor the Republicans because of Sarah Palin's moose stories.

Fairy Dust is always a nice touch. Good thing Bob has a steady hand. I bet he is fantastic with the Operations game.

Inflation must really be on the rise, I think I remember getting a quarter for a tooth. Must be those gosh darn Republicans ;)

Great comeback Emily. Your blog is better that Fox News. Ella should spend it as fast as she can because if she invests it, it may "poof" disappear. Sophie's pebble reminds me of the time Michael stuffed foam up his nose. I knew Lucy had a future in politics.
