We first started using the quote "We plan...God laughs" when we found out I was pregnant with Lucy. As you may know, she was our big surprise. I didn't realize, then, how appropriate that phrase would be for Lucy. I don't think there's been a day in the last year when she hasn't made us laugh. I thank God every day for sending us our little comedian.
By the way, today also marks two happy years of knowing Christie.

This blog brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye! I can't believe Lucy's two already--what a happy day that was to meet two of my favorite people in one day. And I can't believe that Ella and Quinn are in first grade (by the way--without a doubt--the very best year in school!) Enjoy it, Q & E!

I'm a day late, but Happy Birthday Lucy! I still remember sitting at the Michigan game when Andrew told me you had her and that we were going to the hospital when the game was done. I don't know if I would have wanted to meet anyone hours after giving birth!! It was so nice for you guys to include me in it!
I love Ella's first day of school outfit. Happy Birthday a day late to Miss Lucy.
